mrs. brewington confidential | fabulous finds friday!

I wanted to take a break from the normal blog and give a shout out to a few great fab finds that have come my way as I searched for . . . [cue theme music]. . . all things fun and affordable in my bridal journey.

From the beauty or bust corner, my best finds so far are L’Oreal Double Extend Lash Tube Technology and the folks at Eyes Lip Face (e.l.f). L’Oreal Double Extend is awesome and definitely affordable (retailing at 2 for $10.99 at CVS). If you’re looking for ways to save in the beauty department and can’t afford professional lash extensions, never fear. L’Oreal has the answer for you. Double Extend actually adds to the end of your lashes a thin and natural looking ‘tube’ creating longer looking lashes instantly. It sounds crazy. I know, but try it out. I did and loved it. My second fab find is e.l.f Cosmetics. They have great brushes and kits that make excellent gifts for your bridesmaids. For approximately $10-20 per bridesmaid you can provide them with a brush, lip gloss, and nail polish. They will think you’re absolutely thoughtful for the bag of beauty and it won’t break the bank. Everyone knows one of the secrets of keeping skin looking its best is to moisturize. Aquaphor (retail $8.49) is great for dry skin. Use it after a bath or shower and your skin will love you for it. It doesn’t have a fragrance like other creams and lotions so it works great with shower gels or perfumes. * Don’t forget the toes and elbows ladies... :-)*

I hope you enjoy these fabulous finds!
